Education in Armenia begins with primary school, which consists of four years for children aged 6-10. Tertiary education in Armenia is provided by both public universities and private institutions. The largest public university is Yerevan State University which offers Bachelor’s degrees in fields such as business administration, engineering, economics and law. There are also several private universities that specialize in areas like medicine or finance. Overall the educational system in Armenia has seen much improvement over the past few decades due to increased investment from the government in its schools and universities.
